REVIVED - silver and red silk stitched earrings MMRV07

A salvaged, damaged old silver-plate dish has been reimagined into imperfect discs. Hand-sawn, hand-drilled and hand-knotted with silk thread, these earrings are each one of a kind. The original patina of the silverware has been preserved, so minor blemishes are intended. The earrings are on purpose made sterling silver hooks, with a drop of around 55mm. The discs are roughly 25mm diameter. The silk is in knotted tufts, through small drilled holes. Ask about shape, size and colour variations. The REVIVED range rescues perfectly imperfect pieces from the past, turning them into something unique to wear that celebrates the origin and life of the piece. Using silk, linen, leather, beads, old findings, stones and silver, the designer develop to suit the piece and reveal it’s former life. All one-of-a-kind, all hand revived by us in Paddington.
