REVIVED - silver and green silk stitched earrings MMRV05

A salvaged, damaged old silver-plate dish has been reimagined into imperfect teardrops. Hand-sawn, hand-drilled and hand-knotted with green silk, these earrings are each one of a kind. The original patina of the silverware has been preserved, so minor blemishes are intended. The earrings are on purpose made sterling silver hooks, with an overall drop of around 80mm. The teardrops are roughly 8-15mm width and 50mm high. The silk is in knotted through small drilled holes. Ask about options with the shapes and colours. The REVIVED range rescues perfectly imperfect pieces from the past, turning them into something unique to wear that celebrates the origin and life of the piece. Using silk, linen, leather, beads, old findings, stones and silver, the designer develop to suit the piece and reveal it’s former life. All one-of-a-kind, all hand revived by us in Paddington.
